“The Uttarakhand region in India experienced widespread and catastrophic flooding in June 2013 – a multiple day cloudburst caused landslides with thousands of people killed or displaced. With wide loss of life and property the Indian Authorities invited Rescue Global to deploy in September 2013 to conduct reconnaissance, mapping, analysis and liaison work. Kedarneth village was one of the worst hit areas,only accessible via helicopter.

A Rescue Global Pathfinder Team surveyed the area, interviewed eyewitnesses and reviewed footage captured as the event unfolded.
